What can the streets of Bray tell us about resistance, solidarity and the struggle for human rights?
Join us for a fee Heritage Week walking tour on 18th August at 11am led by Tony Daly, co-ordinator of 80:20. Across seven stops, we will connect local places with wider histories; from the anti-apartheid movement of the 1980s and campaigns for justice involving Aboriginal activists in the late 1990s to more recent climate and solidarity action.
The tour is an invitation to explore global justice through a local lens, and to add to the story. Participants are encouraged to bring their own memories, questions and experiences as we consider how people and communities have challenged injustice and acted for change, in Bray and beyond.
Register your free place today and join us to walk, listen and share, and help carry Bray’s stories of resistance and solidarity forward.
