We work on systems change.
This can mean challenging rules, processes, or structures.
Changing systems looks at the big picture and how things work. By learning about and speaking up for new policies and reforms, we can tackle the root causes of inequality at the source.

Training and Education

Training and education work is a core part of what we do. Working with teachers, trainers, young people, youth workers and community educators alike, education is essential for understanding the shape and nature of our unequal world, to interacting with that world as well as to imagining a better one.

Our work in community education and training programmes supports adult learners and teachers.

In July each year, in collaboration with the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC) at the University of Malta, 80:20 organised a summer school on human rights issues in Sliema for students, educators, non-governmental organisation personal and diplomats.
